Nursery trip to Willows Farm

Nursery really enjoyed their trip to Willows Farm. We saw and fed lots of different animals and even got to hold guinea pigs. The tractor ride was very bumpy and lots of fun.

Bike It Golden Lock

Well done to the first Whitchurch cyclist to randomly find the Golden Lock on their bike, winning some lovely Bike It prizes. Keep cycling or scooting to school to be in with a chance of winning a prize.  

Reception Classes at Paradise Wildlife Park

Reception classes visited Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne Hertfordshire and had the most fantastic day. Some quotes from the children: “I loved the white lion because it roared” “I liked the meerkats because they were little and cute.” “I loved the penguins because they had cute wings.”  

Hooke Court

The Year 5 had a wonderful residential stay at Hooke Court, where they took part in a variety of Tudor themed activities.

Stanmore Treasure Hunt

Year 5 pupils enjoyed walking around the local area during the Stanmore Treasure Hunt. On the walk, pupils stopped at various buildings of historical interest, such as the Old Stanmore Church, the Manor House, Franklin’s Cottages and the Old Stanmore Station, to learn about the geography and history of the area in which they live.

March Maths Challenge

The results of the Mathletics March Maths Challenge are in. Whitchurch came 53rd out of over 330 schools, with an average of 1,650 points per pupil!
