A group of children from Year 3 and 4 headed to the Bannister Stadium to participate in the QuadKids event. All children competed in each of the four events – 50m, 400m, Long Jump and Vortex Howler. Well done to all the athletes involved!
Pupils and their families enjoyed a sunny Sports Day at Bannisters Stadium, taking part in activities such as high jump, shot put and hurdles.
Year 3 enjoyed an action packed day at Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre. They solved the Spider’s Web and mastered the Swamp together using team work and cooperation.
Pupils participated in a sponsored fitness circuit led by International Triple Jumper, Daniel Lewis to raise money to buy sports equipment for the school and support GB athletes.
Bob Blackman our local MP visited the Pupil Parliament on Friday 8th June. The children enjoyed meeting him and finding out more about his job. They asked some challenging questions about the issues in Harrow.
Year 5 visited Croft Farm Water Park for a fun-filled weekend residential. The children enjoyed exciting activities such as rowing, climbing, archery and team building.
Whitchurch pupils celebrated London History Schools Day by learning about the NHS and the Windrush. Pupils dressed up in costumes and took part in a variety of activities, such as role play and newspaper report writing to learn more about the history of London.
Year 6 enjoyed their residential experience at Condover Hall. Pupils participated in exciting activities such as abseiling, high ropes, survival skills and fencing.
After all their hard work throughout SATs week, Year 2 and Year 6 celebrated with a barbecue. They enjoyed tasty burgers, juice and ice-pops whilst relaxing in the sunshine. Well done Year 2 and Year 6 for all your hard work! We are very proud of you!
Year 1 children visited Canons Park. They identified different kinds of trees and did some lovely observational drawings of flowers and plants inside the secret walled garden. Thanks to the parent volunteers for supporting us. It was a lovely day for a visit!
