We expect high standards from Whitchurch pupils in all areas of schoolwork, behaviour and appearance. Find out about our uniform and how it can be obtained.

Ordering School Uniform Online

School uniforms can be purchased from our new uniform supplier Price & Buckland through their website. Parents need to register and create their own account to be able to buy new uniform.

We have samples sizes available to check before you buy (return postage to Price & Buckland is payable by the parents). These samples are in the main reception area.

Uniform for Nursery
  • Red sweatshirt or cardigan (with logo)
  • White polo shirt (with logo)
  • Red book bag
Uniform for Reception to Year 6
  • Red sweatshirt or cardigan (with logo)
  • White polo shirt (with logo)
  • Dark grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress / red & white dress for the summer
  • Red book bag (up to Year 2)
  • Smart black school shoes – no trainers or sandals; no laces for Reception children, unless child can tie their own
P.E. Kit for Reception to Year 6
  • Black shorts
  • Coloured t-shirt with school logo – depending on your team colour *see below
  • Red hoodie with school logo (grey jumpers permissible until the end of the Autumn Term)
  • Grey tracksuit bottoms
  • Black plimsolls or black trainers (white trainers permissible until the end of the Autumn Term)
  • White or grey socks
  • PE bag – now available in your team colour *see below
  • Sweatband to cover Karra or Threads

School uniform with the old logo can still be worn until it needs to be replaced with new items.

Please label all items of clothing clearly with your child’s name.

*For new Reception pupils, please wait until the class teacher has allocated you a team colour (nearer to October half term).

Jewellery

With regard to health and safety, no jewellery is allowed. A Karra or Threads must be covered by a sweat band. Children must remove items worn in excess of above. No nose piercings are allowed.

Hair

This should be tidy and in a style suitable for the work being undertaken. It should be tied back if a member of staff considers it necessary for reasons of safety or hygiene. Make-up and/or nail polish are NOT to be worn.

Labels

Need name labels for your child? Stikins are name labels for clothes, shoes, and all school items that you just stick on. Iron on labels also available for clothing if you prefer these. Friends of Whitchurch, the fundraising charity for the school, will receive up to 30% commission for purchases. To order visit the Stikins website.
