Year 5 visit to the British Museum

Year 5 visited the British Museum to enrich our learning about Ancient Greece in History. We spent the day exploring incredible statues and artefacts in the Ancient Greek galleries. We also put our decoding skills to the rest by unpicking stories of Greek gods painted onto ancient vases. Later on, we completed activities in the Parthenon room that helped us to observe the details of the famous sculptures. It was great to come face to face the history we have been learning about.
