Year 5

Welcome to Year 5. We very much see your child's time in Year 5 as a partnership with parents and carers. Please refer to the information on this page to support us with your child's learning both at school and home.

Spring Term

PE days
Children should come to school wearing their PE kit on their PE days. Year 5's PE days this term are:

All classes: Outdoor P.E on Wednesdays.

Forest School 

Year 5 have been selected to attend Forest School sessions in the Whitchurch Woodland during Spring 1.

Children should come to school wearing their PE Kit on a Monday for these sessions. Bringing wellies in is optional, however, as the weather is changing, parents may wish to send their child in on Mondays with named wellies in a bag.

Homework
Spellings are set on Fridays.
Maths learning is set on Friday through Century Online.
All home learning is due on Thursdays.
Please ensure children read at home at least four to five times per week.
