School Uniform
At Whitchurch it is great to see our children looking smart and part of the school community in their school uniform. The main feature of our uniform is our bright red Whitchurch jumper (with optional school logo). Our uniform is as follows:
Uniform for Nursery
Red sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without school logo)
White polo shirt (with or without school logo)
Red book bag
Uniform for Reception to Year 6
Red sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without school logo)
White polo shirt (with or without school logo)
Dark grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress / red and white dress for the summer
Red book bag (up to Year 2)
Smart black school shoes
P.E. Kit
Coloured t-shirt (with or without school logo) - depending on team colour
Black shorts
Grey sweatshirt - outdoors
Grey tracksuit bottoms - outdoors
Black plimsolls or black trainers
White or grey socks
PE bag (with or without school logo)
P.E. Days
Please ensure your child is wearing the correct uniform on their P.E days. Your child should be wearing the following on their P.E days:
- Team coloured T-Shirt (either plain or with the Whitchurch logo)
- Black shorts or grey tracksuit bottoms (during the winter)
- Grey tracksuit jumper (no hood)
- Trainers (with Velcro fastening if your child is not able to do laces yet)
N.B. During colder days/winter season children should layer up with thermals or base layers and an extra fleece as coats will not be worn during outdoor sessions.
Jewellery including watches should not be worn during P.E lessons. Your child will be asked to remove them before they can take part in the lesson. Religious jewellery (Kara band) will need to be covered with a sweat band or tucked into their clothing for safety reasons. Clear plastic earrings can be worn if your child has had their ears pierced recently.
